This British Columbia Vineyard and Winery Resource Guide is meant to assist you in starting or purchasing a winery or if you are managing one. There is no exhaustive list of all the resources you will need, but the guide is meant to point you in the right direction. Updates to the Resource Guide are done annually so we recommend that you defer to the individual websites when looking for more detailed, timely or specific information. This Resource Guide provides a general discussion only relating to the matters covered herein and should not be relied upon as business or legal advice. Those requiring such advice should obtain it directly from their own business and legal advisors in the contest of their own particular circumstances.

The organizations listed are key to any player to the British Columbia wine industry. They range from government organizations that might be mandatory or voluntary in nature to industry organizations that are more membership based. The Guide is meant to highlight the right place to go for information, but since it is only updated annually, contact the individual organizations directly for answers to your specific questions.
